It's amazing how the right kind of mind-altering substance can compensate for a movie's deficiencies. Or so I am told, anyway. I never go to the movies.susnfx wrote:I was going to ask the same thing, Bloo! I saw the original Star Wars approximately 15 times when it first came out (forgive me, I was young[er] and not mentally all there) - and about half of those times I was "drunk" - this thread brought back old memories.

- Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

I plan on seeing it with my wife. That wasn't on the list.
I could get all poetic and talk about the intoxication of our love, but I've been married 23 years. We're just happy to get popcorn.

For what it's worth, I'll be scary sober. I'm dry until July. Saving my pennies and lowering tolerance for Irish arts week

My husband sells used videos in his used book store, so I'll wait until someone brings it in and maybe watch it then.
I liked the original Star Wars (I still want the car that Luke went to the town in near the beginning!), didn't much care for the next one, and haven't watched the one before this new one all the way through.
And I'm wondering with Cran - what is a "sith"? I know that guy with the devil face in one of the other movies was referred to that way - is it like a Jedi master of the dark side of the force??
