For years I have been taking snapshots of unusual, outrageous, hilarious etc signs and notices I find posted. I know of at least boardmember doing the same.

If you have any, post them here.

This is one I came across earlier today, entering Mullagh from the west. The lads had been out with the scraper, modifying.

I no longer have the photos, but I've seen the following, in my travels:

"Texas for sale" (advertising Texas roosters)
"We buy used bodies" (an auto salvage in Mindanao)
"Auto Farts" (an auto parts store, also in Mindanao, where p and f is often confused)

There was another one only a few miles from where the above one was taken where they had scraped a bit at the B of a sign just before a little bridge on the road to Kilkee. it had my son worried for years when he was younger: 'Dangerous Fridge Ahead'

Saw this one a while ago in the market in Kilkee and liked the way it was put:

There is a car dealership ad on the local buses that reads

"Open Eight Days a Week!!! YES! Sunday TOO!!!"

I still haven't figured it out.

I have been meaning to take a picture of a second-hand car sales lot near my home.

It is called Auto Services Shizuoka, and every single car has an ASS numberplate.

It is not really a sign, but 50 ASSes are quite a sight.

This was up in a hostel in Co Kerry during the early nineties. There was something ominous about it. Who'd be on the other end if you did pick it up?

(sorry I couldn't find a decent print of it)

I don't have a picture - because the signs keep getting stolen, for obvious reasons -

But we have an intersection in a county near here where Barrett Rd. intersects Grinn Ln..........

Grinn and Barrett :D

There's a neighborhood in Memphis called "Normal." Normal, Tennessee. When I lived there in the 70s, my favorite sign was "Normal Drugs."

Nice little store, too.

Those who know where I live will understand why I cannot post any pictures of defaced road signs..though I do have a few stashed away somewhere

My husband and I both attended Whitworth College in Spokane, WA, which is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. Every year, someone would change all the "pedestrian crossing" signs to read "Presbyterian crossing."

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

No photo, but there's a place to buy fireworks in eastern South Dakota with the name of "Discount Utopia". I could go for that.

I remember a thread from a couple years ago that had pictures of silly signs. One said something like "Church Service: 10 A.M. - sinners welcome."

Another one in a state park said, "TOILETS >>>" but someone had written "please stay in car" at the bottom.
