till it was all gone!

I thought I had a handle on it....

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

Sarcasm is 90% of my online personality (the other 20% is a reputation as Mr. Arithmetic). Should I cut back?

it's actually spelled 'aum' a-u-m

not sure if you knew that or not
Aw c'mon, Rama, that's the 60s jokey way (Om). I actually lived in India for a while etc etc. The other Weekender, a Nichiren Shoshu Buddhist, uses a Japanese version! Not even Aum-Om etc etc.

In a fit of cleaning, I threw out all the non-English alphabets and languages (Macaroni for Mac users) in the computer system and programs so I don't think I can even write it in Sanskrit.
How do you prepare for the end of the world?

I've got a Sanskrit OM tattooed on my right shoulder.
Little guy in a little room in Katmandu put it there
in 72--charged about five cents.
Hurt like hell.
I didn't even blink.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

It's more like 99% of mine, and I can't help feeling that I'm not being true to myself when I try to repress it.

Still, I strive to do so out of love.

Ain't I good?

We don't even have to agree to that. It's a given.

I thought I had a handle on it....
That's why an axe is dangerous in the hands of the wrong person. It doesn't need a daily grind unless you persist in using it ineffectively on blockheads. Get a grip. Be precise. Learn the swing. Save your energy. Don't borrow other peoples cheap axe heads. Don't use phrases like, "oh brother, can we move on?" Or, "get a life, man!" or any other cutting remark. Use it to split the difference, to keep yourself warm, or to clear brush. Live on the edge. Stay away from stones.
Shall we move on?
(and on and on and on?) That may work in practice, but does it work in theory?
