Today is the 75th birthday of the Twinkie.

That's cos I can - www.cybercandy.com - but I don't care for them. Hostess Devil Dogs, on the other hand, will be in my suitcase come June if they sell them in New England. I have to remember to put them on my list when I get home.

I actually brought a box of these back from the States last year.
Like most of the foodstuffs I tried, somehow they didn't seem half as appetising after I'd unpacked them as they had in the States, and eventually I threw the lot out. None of my work colleagues were very impressed with them either.

Eh? Did ya say old people don't have a car?Jennie wrote:Call me slow... Fly, I thought you'd be announcing _your_ 75th! Now that will be cause to celebrate! You never know how old people are from their avatar.
I hope in another three decades to be able to state that I haven't touched a Twinkie in 75 years!
