Dug this tune out of the vault: my first recording endeavor.
I think it shows what happens when the reed isn't properly humidified(location=Maine).
I started introducing(carefully & using a guitar humidifier) moisture into the case near the chanter top & it seems to be more stable in the 2nd octave.
I'd actually like to go back & re-record that tune now...hmm
(beware reverb is beefy)
