I'm working on the 5 part version of Lord Gordon's. It's just a generic setting that should work in a session. I haven't heard any recorded versions of this tune in which a piper plays all 5 parts. McKeon does 4 parts and I think Ennis did 2 parts.
While listening to McKeon's version of Lord Gordon's it seems fitting to make Trim the Velvet my next project.

- Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

The Tempest
The Holy Land

I am trying to learn regs, and thought The Holy Land would be easy, but all the reg accompaniment I come up with is on the bottom keys, and its busting my a$$ to reach these fast enough. Any tips/tricks?

I'd rather be atop the foothills than beneath them.
