The Moderator's Lock
I originally intended this post to be added to Joseph's comments on the need for "self moderation". However, the lock was put on before I had the chance to post.
Basically, I fully support Joseph's actions and he has a difficult job on his hands in terms of trying to remain neutral yet at the same time being fully aware that the slightest hint of malice, intended or otherwise can lead to yet another flame war. Joseph is after all only human like the rest of us and I'm sure he agrees with some of the less savoury comments. However, please remember that we are on probation here and Joseph moved hell and high water in addition to some pleading to Dale to keep this forum open. Not just for his benefit but for all of us.
As Joseph has stated on more than one occasion the rules are indeed clear. Yes, I'm sure I've "walked" the tight rope as it were on a couple of occasions and come close to a little rule breaking. It is after all too easy to get carried away on a subject we feel so passionate about. That said, if we do step over the line then Joseph is at liberty to "nip it in the bud" before someone takes offence. Hopefully we will not put him in such a position where he has to use his powers as moderator.
If we can be civil to each other for most of the time then we stand a good chance of being allowed to enjoy our Uilleann Pipe Forum in the future when we come up for "revue".
Finally, I would like Joseph to lock this thread asap now that I have offered my support to him, just in case it becomes a stepping stone from his original thread.

It should include as many different accidental notes as possible so that all those with fully-keyed chanters will finally get their money's worth

So, should I write it in F#m? Ugh! I can't even cross finger stuff that way. I would have to transpose.
