Looking for a nice rack?
Does anyone have a good resource for whistle display racks? I generally keep smaller whistles in a vase, but I have plenty of Low Ds and the inbetween keys and right now they are sort of stacked in a pile against a CD case.
I thought about gun racks and while they would probably fit in very nice with the culture of Southern MD
they just aint right for a person with a high school education such as I.

I made this one using a piece of pre-cut decorative pine. I picked it up a our local hardware for about 15 $. It makes for a good base. I just started drilling and planting wooden dowels in of differing diameter to support the whistles. I always wanted to paint it, stain or color it to make it a bit more presentable, but have not gotten around to doing that yet.

Unfortunately, I have wa-a-ay too many whistles to do anything that pretty. I hope to get something figured out within the next week or so, though. Having most of my whistles in cases definitely keeps some of them from being played as often as they should be.

I have very little horizontal space to place a whistle stand on, tho I do like the look of that decorative pine with the dowels.
I am thinking of something that looks like an inverted V to handle a number of keys and that can be wall-mounted.
Any ideas?

I Got This For About $10.00- Works For Me
I got this as a 'close out' item at a 'Hold Everything' store for about $10.00. The original price was about $40.00, which explains why they discontinued the item (I think).
