I like <a href=http://shop.store.yahoo.com/wickedcools ... .html>this one</a> better.

There's an action figure ad on albinoblacksheep.com that I think is funny. I'm going to skip providing a link because I've learned that it makes some folks uncomfortable.
But I find this whole Biblical action figure thing a little weird. But I just love Jesus' bright blue eyes. I'm sure they're quite authentic.

WEll at least they finally quit depicting him as a blond, LOL! Icons and idols... seems a bit risky in the 'adherance to scripture' department to me. I love that movie... I love that G_d... too much 'f' word, but a great commentary on societal 'norms'TelegramSam wrote:I like <a href=http://shop.store.yahoo.com/wickedcools ... .html>this one</a> better.

I remember hearing ads for a "crucifix TV light" on WLAC radio in Nashville. I was appalled.
Of course, I also had a little trouble getting behind all the Sacred Heart oil paintings a band member had in his house, with various scenic backgrounds behind a hovering heart with a crown of thorns, the thorns having nice little droplets of blood where they touched the heart.
This doesn't seem to have been traditional amongst the Southern Methodists that I grew up with.

A woman I know has a dashboard BVM (Blessed Virgin Mary) which I initially thought was ridiculous. But when I drove with her one time, she told me that she talks to her all the time, that it really is a link for her to sincere prayer.
So I guess for somebody it might be a little more "real" than a wooden cross dangling from the mirror.
As for the action figures... I wouldn't go there either. But when my daughters were little they acted out all kinds of stories with the creche figurines. And the little stuffed Santa Claus was always King Herod.
I bet Jesus gets a kick out of them.

They made one. They decided not to market it because it never needed refills.LisaD wrote:mukade wrote:What's next?
