Dale--I haven't listened to the Lamb in ages--need to pull it off the shelf. When I saw the other thread concerning "who is Lilith", I'll admit that the first thought to pop into my head was "Lillywhite Lilith".
As for the question posed in this thread, I listened to John McCusker's "Goodnight Ginger" CD on my way to work--great CD.

On the computer, right this minute, Solas' first album, working on "Crested Hens" and their version of "Sliabh Geal gCua Na Féile", in between bursts of coding. I haven't yet gotten to the point of listening to Irish music simply for enjoyment.
In the car, I mostly listen to Tex-Mex radio. It's great that there's even more Tex-Mex (conjunto) music available in Texas than there was in Califonia. Go figger!
I do keep CDs from Muddy Waters, Blind Lemon Jefferson, John Lee Hooker, and Leadbelly in the car, though. Also "Mountain Soul", from Patty Loveless. It all depends on my mood.
Having discovered that my DVD player will play CDs, I now keep The Modern Jazz Quartet's "No Sun in Venice" album in my bedroom. It's one of the few things that I can play while I'm reading. (Maybe that's not a compliment. I love it, but it doesn't constantly demand my full attention like most kinds of music.)
Looks like I'm a bit light on the classical side. Wonder where I can get some Wanda Landowska...

Sean McAloon and John Rea: pipes and hammer dulcimer.
In the car: Dervish's "Spirit" which I'm trying to like, but it's not working well for me.

I've also been listening to "Spirit," and generally like it. I enjoy the last cut (Whelans). Sounds to me like The Grateful Dead playing IrTrad.Bill Reeder wrote:In the car: Dervish's "Spirit" which I'm trying to like, but it's not working well for me.
Also, just got Flook's Rubai today. I've only had a chance to listen to it once, but liked it. Jazzier than I expected (which is neither good nor bad).
Also, Neil Young's "Greendale," which I consider to be an incredibly overlooked masterpiece.
