Very sorry to hear that. It's such a sweet breed to be with us such a short time. Years ago, I was indebted to a pack of Irish wolfhounds at the Detroit St. Patricks day parade. It was all of 9 degrees outside and I was in a kilt. I knelt beside one to pet the dog and was surrounded by a group of warm, friendly, affection starved wolfhounds. I wasn't cold anymore.
Um....Mom, Dad?......I'm Gaelic.

Thanks everybody. That is one of the very crummy things about having
a Wolfhound, they don't, as a rule, live very long. But it is certainly a major dog experience. At a 150lbs, she stood almost 6'3" with her paws on my shoulders. Her poop was bigger than mine, she could belch and f*rt as loud as me, and I simply adored her, and feel very fortunate to have experienced her life... mostly on her terms.
She was stubborn as a mule, but galloped like a horse. She moved like a leopard at times, and others, leaped around like a gazelle... and nothing moved me more than to see her running out at full speed.
sh*t, she will be missed, even her howling when I practiced...
Thanks
