St Patrick'sday photos
I went out trying a new camera today, here are a few impressions of the musical contributions to the local parade. The theme of the parade this year was 'Fairytales' and my young fellow was in with the local musicianers. . Our gang won first prize for best float

Get these kids some expensive whistles and green duds, add a Leprechaun or a few, and it could pass for America!
On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog!

Thanks for the pictures Peter. It is great to see how the celebration is done in Clare. We used to have parade in Rhode Island when I lived there. The difference is none of the adults would have been able to walk back. I love to see the young ones learning the music of their heritage. Wish I could have been there.
BTW the worst thing about digital cameras is the number of pictures you can take in a short period of time.
Thanks
Ron

I've never met a whistle I didn't want.

Great photos!
Now a question-
How cold was it there? The reason I asked is that it looks like St Pat would have cold feet if he was here in the mountains this time of year.
