I just received a new C chanter from Kirk Lynch, here's a pic of it next to my concert D chanter for comparison.
Jeff
p.s. I just updated Kirk's website with some new pix of chanters, his workshop, and the final engraved piece for Gil Hocker's set.

Hi all,
I'm new here; I'm a piper from Galicia (North West of the Iberian coast -olso called Spain-).
I have pictures of my pipes on my website, if you were so kind to visit it...would be great!

They're...believe me,...they're...( the mp3 files)chanterdan wrote:anton those are great looking pipes, top of line,i hope someday ill own such a sweet set as yours.loved your website, need to put some mp3 sound bites up,i like the sound of those glacian pipes, also!!!!
I've putted three mp3 samples, only for the ENGLISH language web. You should visit the English site. There is a language selector on the top right of the main web. It's not too easy to see, I know... Or if you wish click here http://www.antondavila.com/indexing.htm you're going directly to English site.
Then go to NEWS, and they're.
Hope you like it,.... just let me know after...
Slán go fóill

The bottom hand is a real stretch for me, takes some getting used to, the reed is lighter than the D chanter and that also takes some getting used to.elbogo wrote:You dog! A Lynch C chanter!! How does this compare to his standard D?
Overall it is much more fun to play slow airs on this - they just sound cooler.
