Oops! Oh, yeah, the topic ... um ... sorry about that .... drifted a bit .... I buy from Amazon.com (the US one) all the time, as the Canadian one is a joke. They never seem to have what I want. I have also bought through the UK amazon for stuff that isn't on the US one. I have not had any problems.

Hamish,
I've bought everything from books to CDs on Amazon with no problems at all.
Before you do that, though, check the price with Celtic Southern Cross in Tassie. They're also very good. I got my copy from them. They also have a good range of music and other books; Mike and Beth are very helpful.
Regards
Jimbo

Well. Gee. Promote that on your own site, maybe? We have a link program here which maintains THIS site which you are now, uh, using.Patrick D'Arcy wrote:Amazon are incredibly reliable. Here is a direct link through my site to them for the Heather Clarke Book CD combo: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... npipesobs/
I get a teeny tiny percentage of the sale if you order through my site. It's a way of gathering funds towards the hosting fees and other costs of running the site.
All the best,
Patrick.

The only trouble i've had with Amazon and international shipping was when i had them ship a CD to my brother in Brazil, and it got stuck in customs. I've sent a CD to Germany with no problems. Their international shipping is pretty slow.
On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog!

This is why AMAZON.COM - a world-class gold-standard operation in efficiency, web site effectiveness, and leader in the new internet model - does not use this Forum in their commercials.glauber wrote:Their international shipping is pretty slow.
If AMAZON.COM disappoints, I can see why the occasional, fleeting frustration with a pipemaker might materialize from time to time.
