You've got a monkey on your back. The only way you're gonna be able to get it off is to go cold turkey.

Lent is also a time for charity and doing good works, so feel free to contribute to the worthy cause of your choice and/or do some volunteer work in your community.

I'm giving up misusing Latin.
How do you prepare for the end of the world?

Alright, Weeks. I acknowledge it's been quite a few years, but where's the misuse?

You know Will, you're right. From henceforth, I will no longer say "snarky" unless the occasion arises where I must

I have no idea.....No E used "vobiscum" which addresses a group of people (Peace be with you...the you being plural here), but your response of Et cum spiritu tuo was directed to No E (I am assuming) and therefore should be singular (And with your spirit...the you being singular).

It's straight from the Mass. The priest says "pax vobiscum" (to the congregation; thus plural) and they respond "et cum spirituo tuo" (to the priest; thus singular).

No E used the plural form (presumably addressing all of us) and Will O'Ban used the singular form (presumably addressing No E). That's perfectly correct.

Whew...I'm glad that's cleared up. I always thought it was "Pox Vobiscum". Made me wonder why people went to Mass at all.
