I think some(but not all) of Paul Newman's chocolate is vegan. It's a little pricey but the dark chocolate is awfully good and improves my mood greatly.

The best vegan chocolate is available from health food stores, but not everyone has access to one. You can get vegan anything, including chocolate, from Pangea, at http://www.veganstore.com.
I just sent my college freshman daughter a pile of chocolate from there since she'd had to break a guy's heart and was feeling sad. I guess I should have sent him the chocolate.

 the most stylish phrasing I've seen in a long while

If it was that daughter that made a recent appearance on the Cutie-Pie thread then I would suggest you start stocking up on the chocolate.

No, that one's just 16 and tends to keep things to herself, so it's hard to know how many casualties she leaves in her wake.

Lovely. Just lovely. Thanks a bunch, Doug.

Every time I see this thread I'm going to be rummaging in the fridge for stray bits of chocolate.

I'm about to leave to go buy printer cartridges. "Mmmmmm! Must have choooocoooolaaate!" is running through my brain like one of those announcement strips on the bottom of the CNN screen. The key determinant of my excursion is now which Office Depot is closest to a Publix grocery. (They have Ghirardelli dark baking chocolate . . . my favorite!)

Hmmm, come to think of it, the Publix on St. Pete Beach has artisan breads . . . and one of them is chocolate cherry. I could get that AND some Ghirardelli . . . and it's only completely across town from where I need to go . . .

Hello, my name is annie...

and I am a chocoholic... and not ashamed.... just a little rounder than I'd like...

I subscribe to the "Harry Potter" series philosophy on chocolate... "Eat it. It really helps."

LOL...I wonder how long before a chocolate company purchases that as a slogan.

I know, I love www.veganstore.com. I've been wanting to buy a pair of the hemp shoes on there, but I don't have $70 to 'waste'. :P

I didn't realize they made hemp shoes. I love hemp clothing. It's some of the most durable stuff you can buy.
