That message keeps appearing on this computer (I'm at school) and I have no idea what it means or if I've done something or if I should log off...can somebody help me?

Actually it says 'debug'....with a 'd'.

It happens to me all the time on my school library computers, whenever I try to reply to a post. Doesn't matter whether I choose Yes or No, nothing happens, but No seems to get me to the reply screen faster.

It doesn't happen on my home computer. I suspect it's stemming from a setting the school has put on the computer software, but I don't know enough about it to change it.

I've chosen both 'Yes' and 'No', too, and nothing happens.

Thanks Cran, you too! Miss seeing you in the chat room, but due to time zones I only make it in during the wee hours of Friday and Saturday nights (Eastern time), if I happen to wake up horribly early. And sometimes Thursday.

Understood. I usually don't go to chat much anymore, either. I'm too busy with life. And to quote Martha Stewart, 'it's a good thing'.

I assume you're using Internet Explorer, right? If so, do this: select the menu Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced, and make sure the the "Disable script debugging" box is checked.

On the university computers we're restricted from changing the options. A box pops up that (to paraphrase) says, "This option has been cancelled because we don't think that you know what you're doing. Take it up with the administrator if you've got a problem with that."

Guess I'm stuck with the debug box...

This was a more interesting question when I thought it said "rebug." Which could easily be accomplished by leaving your anti-virus software off.

It is somewhat humorous.....the thought of "rebugging". As if someone would want to rebug after they debugged.

Actually, the easiest way to rebug is to just upgrade to the latest version of anything from Microsoft!!
