It's crazy snowing here on the Mid-Atlantic Eastern Seaboard. Disgruntled cat howling in the background. Dog incensed that she hasn't been invited to go sledding. Me with headache after listening to 12 year old reiterate an entire Rachel Ray cooking show which he hopes to duplicate (no, this is not a reasonable expectation, given the kid.)
Studying Spanish (La capital de Honduras es Tegulcigalpa.)
Reading Harry Potter in French. (It's called "Poudlard," not Hogwarts)
Editing stupid manuscript.
Watching snow.

Tell us something.: You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

Hey! There is to be Absolutely, Positively NO On-Topic whistle discussion around here  If you even think about it, I'm running to uncle Dale and telling on you :waah:

Seriously, I hope this works out best, for everyone. If not, I'm sure Dale will be wise enough put things back the way they were.

In the mean time, I promise not to drag the Pub celebrations down with any boring whistle talk

I'm still waiting for that first round Amar...... :pint:

Cheers,

Lovely. I love the old fashioned ones.Think I'll play something warm and sunny for Emm....lets see now...Ah yes.."Jessica" from the Allman Brothers..Mmmm..now that would brighten up the darkest snowstorm.

I'll leave a few credits on the jukebox if anybody else wants to play a track... :)

I just love that shade of lipstick...I wear it often. Oops...should that have been labeled "OT"?

I think I'm also disoriented because of the snow....we have already gotten what Em is getting now. We have about 5 inches of snow on the ground, and everything is a lovely white! Oops....nevermind. It's snowing again it seems (as I look out the window in the office) Now where is that bucket of Guinness?

Slan,
D.
Thanks, D. I don't know how bad the weather is near Em, but near Lake Michigan we have heavy snow, high winds and freezing temps. When the weather gets like this I generally put a new log on the fire and Gordon Lightfoot on the music box. Something about the Canadian flavour in his music fits in rather nicely with this weather. "Song For A Winter's Night" or "Canadian Railroad Trilogy" would be one of my picks.

Hope you don't feel like you just threw your money away. :)

Cheers,

I have indeed commented on it in another thread on this new, and yet somehow terrifying, board. It's just a jump to the left.

I'm sorry ad...I feel your pain though. No one has commented on my new hairstyle either. Oh, but at least Martin "gurned" at us. That should count for something, right?

Someday I'll have to regale you with a story about the Time Warp, New Orleans and and an exceptionally attractive crossdressing person.

...maybe not. But if anyone here has been to the upstairs of The Dungeon at 3:00 AM, you'll have an idea.

Was it a Sweet transvestite? And did you stay for the night?

That may have been a bit too personal of a question, I realize. Feel free to plead the fifth. :P
