Cran: I realize you don't need me to say this, but I'm saying it anyway. If I were you, I would just ignore that crap you are getting from Tal, (or whatever the hell I'm supposed to call him). When he gets involved, there often seems to be some sort of confrentation that erupts.

Now, if you are enjoying the verbal sparring, than I say, have fun, my friend.

All the Best, Tom

Well I felt like I was being backed into a corner with the dissection of my post, word for word, which I didn't really sit and think about and I got more and more nasty while knowing that I shouldn't get nasty (even though most of it got edited into oblivion). So I apologised.

My category doesn't seem to be adequately covered by the options, i.e. read regularly but exercise massive self-restraint and post rarely.

I was just about to compliment Cransberg on how lovely he's looking these days and then find that he is at the centre of an attempt to turn this thread into a beauty contest. Enough already!

Was Trollersiga one of the acceptable forms of address?

So many people've thought Rachel Dratch was me. I don't understand why. She's so ugly. :(

But that's why I like her. She resembles a dead chicken.

Oh I don't know about that. Our Prime Minister, Mr Howard, is doing a pretty good job!
I am sure Wombat will agree.
At least the leader of your country can talk at all! Have you heard George Bush speak? I believe him when he says he's "misunderestimated".

Nevertheless, IMO, your President speaks more right than our Prime Minister. :)

I dipped into that thread before it got so big. Then I remembered that I don't like arguing, which seems to be the sport over there. So I stopped looking.

Heck, I didn't even read THIS thread before voting and writing this post! :D

izzarina wrote:I picked "occasionally post and read". It seems to go a bit too fast for me. By the time I reply to someone, their post is 2 pages back. :P I really do end up having much more to say, but never get a chance to say it.
Know what you mean, it does go really fast some days. Read something, think "don't have time to respond right now", come back and the subject has changed with the thread two or three or four pages longer. But sometimes I'll post anyway, using a quote to refer to what the comment is about. The thead is so all over the map anyway with different things, it can't hurt too much. So post it anyway izzarina. There are always those who will appreciate that you did, even if you aren't aware of it at the time.

Not surprising that the majority seem to be those who have little to no interest in it. I used to favor leaving the board as is, but now, if ever there was to be a creation of an OT board, I would support it. Course, this works to, however the board moderators think works best. I'm just grateful to be able to post.

What has surprised me thus far are those who stop by to read but never post. (Surprise as in "that's interesting" in the nice sort of way.)

I find it interesting in a creepy, inhuman sort of way. How can anyone have that much self restraint? Buncha 'droids, I bet. (Or maybe it's that "free will" thing I've heard so much about, but never experienced.)
