All sorts of '80s alternative, 'specially the Chameleons, the Smiths, New Order, etc.

All sorts of modern indie-rock, ala Mates of State, Longwave, Ilya.

Pseudo-Irish-y stuff like the Pogues, Flogging Molly, Black 47.

My list is quite close to mortens, just ad
Tom Waits
Kate Rusby
more contemporary Scandinavian folk
and Swedish low-fi (Christian Kjellvander and similar)

When it comes to Celtic stuff like Altan, Deanta, DeDannan, Arcady, Solas … I too get bored very quickly.
Got at least one or two CD’s from all of the above but they are just dust collectors on the shelf.
The most played Celtic band in my CD-player is Shooglenifty, no whistles, no flutes, no pipes but soooooo goooooood.

Marcus, your avatar looks familiar - could he be someone from Angora?

I have heard people say that I have a Danish look-a-like, supposedly a famous piano player named "Solgaard"
or similar. I guess thats who you refer to :D :D :D :D :D

The Danish cycling team (Cykel holdet) is my favourite. Is there a Dvd collection one can get?

Teach a man to make a wooden reed,
and the both of ye will go insane!

Don't have any of their recordings, but when a song comes up on the radio, I usually crank the volume.
