Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

I know this is off topic ( ) but why is she pouring salt? What use is salt when it rains? Is she expecting the temperature to plummet and so she is just getting ready? I don't get it.

So, anyway, what else is needed that I can bring? Seems that pretty much everything else is being brought, right down to the rain gear :P

Ok. The good news: I don't own this CD. However, I do have two CDs by Bang the Can.

The first is Bang the Can's recording of Brian Eno's "Music for Airports." As some will know, the original was done with tape loops. This recording by Band the Can is performed "live" by the ensemble. It sounds pretty much like the original.

THe second is Band the Can recordings of a couple of Steve Reich compositions. Very nicely done.

If the clips on this CD are any indication, I'm not sure it's the weirdest CD I've ever heard. For that distinction, I have just one word:

Shatner.

Like the maroon I am, I forgot to add the most important part: There was a guy playing the tinwhistle in Hoagy Carmichael's band.
