Mine didn't like the earwax one either, but they said that the booger ones tasted like salt and really weren't that bad I almost lost my lunch over that one.
Edited to add: Will, I have not tried this soda, nor have I heard of it (just so I can say that I was on topic )

Hey, J.K. Rowling started it and she's in England. I don't know about the vomit-flavored Bertie Botts beans, but the 'boogie-flavoured' one was definitely her idea.

OY! You are so right... don't know where my head was. And don't answer that!!
We have a Jelly Belly factory store nearby. They have a bargain deal of slightly misshapen ones in two pound bags. Those bags are assortments of various flavors and contain about 12 flavors each. If you buy five bags, you get them at the rate of $3 per bag, which is pretty cheap. So, you find an absolute stranger and go in together, which we did.
Anyway, I noticed an odd thing. We had some out on Boxing Day and were passing around this assortment bowl. Nobody wanted to eat the Peanut Butter ones, but when I suggested we just toss em, the rest of the crowd insisted on waiting until thats all that was left, eating and grimacing their way through. Weird. But it was fun to pass around the assortment and guess what flavor they would be.

But she's got a REALLY nice house in London! Now, anyway.
Okay, see... I knew I'd read something about her in England. I wasn't as confused as I thought! Well...okay...so yeah, I am that confused. But at least not about that!

I knew you weren't confused, ad. Especially since I thought she was in Englad too, and I never get confused

It is true that she scratched out the manuscript to her first HP book in Edinburgh, partly in a coffee shop. Probably maintains a residence there as well, but I not on her Xmas card shortlist, so my info's a bit sketchy.

she wrote the manuscript on napkins in the elephant house in edinburgh. a nice coffee-shop.
What I want to know is - who at the jelly bean company had to taste REAL earwax, etc. to try to reproduce the flavors artificially? "Hmm, this vomit is a little too acidic, but the booger is just right now that we've added more salt!"
The buttered popcorn, though, has been around as a regular flavor for a while and I think it's awful. I get it confused with my favorite, coconut.
