Very adorable -- and large -- cutie-pie, Jsluder.

Following are two of my cuties (Michael and Kaylee, aka "Old Fuzzy
Face"). Please ignore the fact that they could both use a bath.

Actually, at only 100 lbs, he's a runt. (A male Great Pyr is normally 120 to 130 lbs.) Not that I'm complaining; he's so stubborn and willful (though otherwise quite sweet) that I'm glad he's no bigger.

"Old Fuzzy Face" is adorable. (Nice looking kid, too. :) )

Cheers,
John

Nice family, Darwin. I remember the occasional snow when I lived in
Dallas (1973 - 1974). Back then, the amount of snow shown in your
picture would have almost shut down the metroplex. Being from the
midwest I found it amazing that the grass would be showing through the
white stuff, but we would be issuing hazardous driving reports on the
radio and the schools would close. Dallasites, back then, didn't have
snow tires or know how to drive on slick roads. I don't know if things are
still the same today in the Big D.

While I'm talking about Dallas, let me go on to say how nice I thought
everyone was. I didn't own a car when I lived there and walked
everywhere I went, and everyplace seemed to be a couple of miles from
where I lived so I got plenty of exercise which I was used to. Complete
strangers would often stop and ask if I wanted a ride down the street,
without any solicitation for a ride on my part. Now that I'm older (and
hopefully wiser), I don't think I would jump so readily into a car with
someone I didn't know. But that's also how I got to Dallas from
northeastern Missouri -- with a worn out pair of jungle boots in three
days. But the southern hospitality was not a myth and most of the people
were very charming.

I was going through photographs, and came across this one of my son, as the ferocious Godzilla six years ago. It was just too darn cute to not post in the Cutie Pie thread...

All we need now is a wall in the pub to hang all the pictures of cutie pies!

Hey Rich and Dale how about a separate forum as a picture album forum!

Thanks for reviving thread, rich, in this bifurcation (which I oppose, oh well)....

Jsluder, we use those dogs to guard our sheep. Very fine animals.

Everybody who didn't want to migrate are Cutie-Pies...those that did...aw shucks, I guess you are too...

Very fine animals, indeed. How many Pyrs do you have?

We'd love to be able to have more than one, but we live in the 'burbs. There's a small farm across the street from us with two Great Pyrenees on duty. Ours is just a pet, though he takes his self-appointed guard duty very seriously.

:D Very funny, Tom. Actually, he hears that everywhere he goes. (It's probably the glasses.)
