PS: I don't have a J, an I, or a D anywhere in my name (first, middle, or last), so I'm guessing that I'm not JessieD.

Tell us something.: I love Irish music! I am mostly a whistle player but would like to learn more about flutes. I also have a couple older whistles I'd like to sell and maybe pick up a bamboo flute to practice with.

I once knew a girl named KinkyD
A finer girl you never would see
With a voice to call the ships from the sea
And when she sneezed she would always pee.

(I thought I'd throw in a little reality with that last line)

Can anyone really prove that they are not JessieK or D or whatever from a philosophical point of view?

On a quantum level, any one of us could be Jessies K or D.

good point. I think not. Nor has JessyD, JesseeD, JessED. All ripe for the picking. Though I strongly advise against it.

Hey Dee Dee, is today D-Day? (OblahaD oblahdah, life goes on)

Here's a thought...our roaming friend JessieD uses the word "Dude" a little too much for my comfort. that would be KLR, Portland, nice weather there today, Joe. See if The Dude and JessieD joined this forum about the same time.

EDIT NOTE: I just checked and sure enough, The Dude joined 2 Dec. JessieD joined 1 Dec. Go figure.

I noticed that as well, especially given the avatar-borrowing.

Let's see: as of this post, 10 people say they are JessieD; 34 people say they're not JessieD; and 11 people don't seem to know one way or the other. Hmmmm . . . No matter how I crunch the numbers this doesn't seem to add up. I think someone's using fuzzy math.

Let's settle this the Gary Moore way: Will the real JessieD, please stand up . . . [/drumroll]
