Isn't this the reason to live alone?
So you can spend as much money as you like on instruments and parts that others tend to spend on cars and houseloans and whatsoever.
Anyway...I have no life so I shouldn't be here at all...
Waiting for my Gallagher set next autumn/winter...sigh!

At least, the nice thing is that they're on their way. :)

Hell users...I am new to the forum. The main reason I had to sign up to ask the advice of you all. This Froment set has caught my eye, being so rare also being a bonus. Do you any of you have any knowledge of the set or seller before I try a hand at bidding later tonight?

The seller is solid, so there is no difficulty on that end. The set is in marvelous condition and, with Alain's long wait list of 8+ years, an opportunity to get something that will never turn up again.

It is a tradition though, gold ring, that if you ask for advice like this on your first post and then buy such a desirable set of pipes....

WE ARE ALL ENTITLED TO BORROW THEM FOR 1 WEEK EACH!

That'll be OK won't it? You should get to try them yourself in a year or 2

11,500 EUR = 7,902.70 GBP
11,500 EUR = 15,396.01 USD

With 4½ hrs left, reserve is getting close at 7,100.00 GBP ($13,733.89 US)

There are many things we can't afford in life, but we regret them once we let them go. I say go for it. For me, it was a Willie Rowsome set in Bb. :D

Tidy sum for a bag and sticks, eh. I was actually hoping for a wilder finish, as they can be very entertaining to watch from the sidelines in the last seconds.
