I had Gene Wilder! Twice!
Sorry, G, not quite the same
My favorite Billy Wilder picture is The Apartment with Jack Lemon and Shirley MacLaine. I'm also a big Jack Lemon fan -- he and Wilder worked well together.

I went to the video rental just now to get a couple of movies for the next few days. Since I haven't seen the Matrix trilogy yet, I picked up The Matrix.
In the descriptive text on the jacket was this ...
"Reality: That world is a hoax, an elaborate deception spun by all-powerful machines of artificial intelligence that control us. Whoa."
dapple wrote:blackhawk - thanks for mentioning "Black Robe." That is an excellent movie, and I don't know many people who have seen it.
Is that the movie about the French missionaries who lived with the Algonquin tribes?
Will O'Ban
Yes, it is. It's a very realistic portrayal of that time period and place, with great attention to detail. I did my list, got off line and thought so much of that movie that I got back on line to amend my list just to include that one.

I'm way to easy. I usually like the last movie I saw if it was at least half-way good. I've seen most of the movies listed and loved them. A few that haven't come up yet
