Brother Steve and anyone who's talked about him

Post by ennistraveler »

Thanks for the link (I actually knew about him and the page before but never really took time to check it out), folks!!!! After my recent trip to Ireland I'm really stuck on learning the whistle seriously (as the fiddle too, which I've actually played for 3 months already), and brother Steve has some very, very helpful pages there!!! I think I may be getting somewhere really soon...

Why don't you sign his guestbook? I'm sure he'd be glad to hear from you.

Boy was I relieved to see that this was a happy post! By the subject, it looked like it might be bad news. Glad it's not!

Me too!

I think Brother Steve is a bit of a wanker, really, but that's just me of course. ;)

I'm not 100% sure he's actually taken vows.

Actually he's now Father Steve, at least to two people (that I know of  )

I don't know of any more than the two you speak of Brad, and even there, I sometimes wonder whether I should believe their mother when she swears they are mine.

And anyway fatherhood is no barrier to being a wanker, as I'm sure Bloomfield would agree.

Thanks for your expressions of concern Jessie and Roger. And EnnisTraveler for sending our bro a nice guestbook entry. That makes two this month - out of 2600 visitors. :sniffle:

[I try to avoid stepping over the line here, but I couldn't resist...]

If it's true that Brother Steve is a wanker, perhaps he should check out the thread--elsewhere on this board--with the subject "New Member." I imagine that such a thing might come in...er...handy.

Alright Mark, I didn't even notice his name there was Stevie.......or maybe I didn't look because of the ugly face..... :P Anyway Stevie, I guess you are my brother Steve, you're a true hedersknyffel (Swedish kinda word for a jolly good fellow) for making such a page. I never got anywhere with Bill Ochs' book but with this page I actually understand how to do things. Even if my cat doesn't like when I play the whistle.

Hey Steve, ya ready to play tomorrow night a Jean Duval's launch of his CD and tunebook? Wish I could get there alas I will have to settle for ordering the CD and book.

Good luck tomorrow night and great time!
