Umm, you actually went through approximately 4100 names? That's "impressive."

Do we have all the states covered?

Oh, sorry. I should clarify. I didn't scour it. I was just curious about how many people left it blank. There are also a LOT of non geographic locations like "wherever I am" and stuff like that but I didn't physically count them. There are quite a few, though.

Mine says Green Country (okay... for a while it said "way down yonder in the pawpaw patch"), which refers to a verdant section of eastern Oklahoma. Other parts of the state are known as Great Plains Country, Red Carpet Country, and Kiamichi Country, according to the landscape.

Mine says, "The Other Side Of The Glen," which as we all know is a long way from Tipperary. And everyone knows where that is. How much more specific can I get? :)

I'm late catching up on this thread, but you all can see where I'm from. Someday I'll figure out an avatar with my house in it, right on the tide in Prince William Sound.

This is a less isolated place than some of the places I've lived in Alaska. And there's still something to be said, I suppose, for being the best whistler in town. Would be nice if there were another one near, though. :P

Tonight we're having leftover pumpkin pie. If our resident weasel, Feeney, hasn't consumed it. He's generally a carnivore, but seems to have made an exception for pumpkin pie.

Seriously, it would be fun to have a fellow chiffer come and add to the music in the house. It's tiny, there's no running water in winter, but the view makes up for it all.

P.S. This post makes my 44th, and I'm 44 years old. Isn't that like having a Golden Birthday?

Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

Nah. You'll only ever be as good as Bloomfield. He practices just as much as you do.

Well, let me be the first to wish you a Happy Golden Birthday, Jennie.

PS: I hope your little friend saved you some pie for dinner. Pumpkin is my favorite, but then I like almost any kind of pie except blackberry -- it's a little tart for my taste and I don't care for the seeds. :)
