If you're bored. And have flash.

Post by emmline »

Ridiculous, but somewhat entertaining, website recommended by my teenagers. But nevermind what it is.
If Paul thinks the link I posted might be offensive to someone, I'd prefer not to have posted it. Link removed.

I'm editing, rather than posting so as not to give this thread a bump, but the same thing which gave me and my 16 yr old a chuckle could be bothersome to someone else...that is the juxtaposition of revered religious icons and the overblown absurdity of television commercials aimed at children.

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

We've been enjoying the Kitty Cat Dance here for weeks. I never saw the others.

Particularly enjoyed the "Jesus Schrist Action Figure" video, and I don't think anyone would find it offensive.
(apologies in advance if you do.)[/quote]

I wouldn't be too sure about that offensive thing-- I'm Jewish, and it made even me a bit uneasy. I think a lot of Christians might find it very offensive indeed. Some of the other videos were pretty cute though

Well. It's stupid. I confess. And, again, apologies to the sensitive. I'll remove the link, and allow anyone who wishes to look up albinoblacksheep.com.

The teens who put me up to posting that are very active in a Presbyterian church, btw, but I guess Presb.s don't tend to be the most sensitive denomination.

I have no desire to start a raging debate here but I honestly don't see how anybody could find that clip offensive.
It's just a silly bit of teenage humour - mildly amusing and instantly forgettable.
If I wanted to see something really offensive I would just turn on a News program - there is some really heavy stuff on there every night.
