For those of you who know "Byll" on this list (hammer dulcimer player and Burke whistle advocate), he is headed into serious back surgery on November 22nd.
Please keep him in your thoughts.
His hard drive just crashed, by the way, so if you've well-wishes, posting them here would be the best thing; he'll see them all in one place as soon as he's able.
I'll be thinking about you Byll....I hope all goes well with your surgery! And I hope you can get your computer up and running again soon! We'll miss you!
Someday, everything is gonna be diff'rent
When I paint my masterpiece.
Byll, I work for a Neurosurgeon's group, so I have a good idea what you'll be facing. Every day will see an improvement. Keep your spirits up!
We'll look forward to seeing you back here soon!
Hey Byll-- sending you all our best wishes for a speedy recovery. You're a genuinely nice person who will be missed here while you're on the mend. Hurry back soon!
Tell us something.: Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Part of what I love about celtic/folk style music is the sound of a handful of handmade instruments that remind me of simpler times.
P.S.
The doctors will tell you not to play low Ds for a while. I know it's tempting, though. I wouldn't do this for just anyone, but for you, Byll, I'll offert to take your Overton Low D during your reconvalescence. Just to remove the temptation, you know. I'll take good care of it. Really it's the best way. I'll send you my mailing address.
