Bald as a coot for 20 years (notice the careful cropping of my avatar). Have drawn some comfort from a quote attributed to Frank Zappa:
"It's not what is on the outside of your head that counts."

This is me and my baldness with Carlingford Lough and South Armagh behind us.Taken just over a year ago. There's not a lot at the front but the back and top are all right for now.....

Totally shaved - I look a tiny bit like the pic of A. Crowley in my avatar - which is actually just a lame visual gag re. my appearance, and not an indicator of my occult pedigree...
I do have occasional bouts of beardiness when the monotony gets too much, but that tends to make me look as if my head is on upside down...
I expect I'd have little hair now even if I didn't shave it all off (which I've done for about 12 years). That said, I've no use for hair, and even if I had loads I'd *still* shave it.

And whether the blood be highland, lowland or no.
And whether the skin be black or white as the snow.
Of kith and of kin we are one, be it right, be it wrong.
As long as our hearts beat true to the lilt of a song.

Place me in the folicly deficient club as well. The forehead is growing and I otherwise look like I have a full head of hair until viewed anywhere from a rear angle. I can make a pretty good slap sound on the top of my head! Sometimes I think of going with the Phil Collins look.

Yep. I look like Brad Pitt minus all of his physical characteristics.
Martin! I'm glad I didn't know about that side of you as you led us down the dank alleys of London.
It's great to see so many pictures of everyone. It's too easy to view the posters on a message board as faceless bits of text.
I'm no longer trying a new posting paradigm
