How did a thread on not interjecting politics into the board become a politcal thread?

I'm sorry that I seem to be the one that stirred up some sort of mental problem with poor Andrew. It probably is good advice from Dave to leave the board for a while and let things settle down.

If anything Andrew won't have anyone to fight with anymore, his main antagonists being gone.

That inability is certainly news to me! Who did you contact about whatever problem might be going on? I don't read the forums regularly, but this is the first I've heard of it.

Cool!

And NO MR. KIA!!!

Go, I respectfully request, and stop exploiting this board that you hate to promote the one you like. It's ill-mannered to your hosts.

Aren't you overreacting just a wee bit here, David? If you are angry with Andrew and feel that your flamewar is polluting the board, why didn't you just take it to PM instead, rather than keep the name calling going on and on and on in public?

I feel that leaving in a huff, all the while promoting another board is childish, and as Dale says, rude to your hosts here. You have contributed an enormous amount to this board and I am sorry to see you go in this way.

Cheers,
Jens

It cracks me up that every time David Migoya leaves (and it's becoming a bit of a habit!), the first thing he does is remove his avatar. Is that the computer equivalent of saying "it's my ball, and I'm taking it with me" when you storm off the playground in a huff. (Previous sentence translated from the Scottish, "it's ma baw, ah'm aff")

I daresay that when David reaches his 9th birthday he'll mature a bit and bring his avatar (along with his ball, and maybe even his colouring pencils and skipping rope) back with him.

Children, children, children......

Dale, et. al.

I am the original founder of GC (the "other site"), and while I have sold it to a friend of mine, I still maintain an interest in it. I'd like to offer my apologies for the way it was promoted here recently. It's not supposed to be a competitor in that fashion (CHOOSE! CHOOSE NOW! ). It's kind of like a session on a different night. Both have their good and bad points, and both are enjoyable. I still maintain a presence (Albeit rarely lately with getting my teaching certification) on both boards, and respect everything that you have accomplished with C&F.

Migoya still here?

Post by David Levine »

I suspect that Migoya is still with us, under the pseuodonym "Pratten." Since I am not an investigative reporter, however, this is only a hunch.

It's a theory, David...furthermore, Maybe Mr M and Pratten, and Andrew, are ALL DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF THE SAME PERSON? After all, one has all one's bitterest disagreements with oneself...

If proof were needed, both Mr M and Andrew have given me very helpful and friendly advice over the months, for which I thank them.... or him.... :D

I've got that same suspicion myself.
