For some unknown reason, the latter state appeals to me, at this point in time. BUT, I did find the sooner state very lovely when I visited it, in the early 80's ... even found my own rose rock.

I'd steam okra with onions and tomato. I might fry the onions with garlic and I might make a homemade tomato sauce for it. Never had it fried. Can't even imagine it fried.

So tell me, does anybody know why Okra switched netwoks, from CBS to NBC? Was it a money issue for her? I think that talk of frying or steaming her is a sign of an ever growing trend toward canibalism and positively disgusting!

I chose fried okra because of it's major importance in our political life. Surely you all remember that speech of old by Roosevelt? Speaking of a car in every garage and an okra in every gumbo? :roll:

okra is a common vegi in indian cuisine, but i never liked it too much, it's always so slimey, like snot...bleeech

Ummmm.....ok. I don' think I'm going to want an okra in my gumbo now. Nothing like gumbo with large pieces of boogey type stuff in it
