We can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine.

Not necessarily Martin, from the article linked above:
EATING OF NIGHT FECES:
Rabbits engage in a relatively uncommon but normal behavior when they deliberately eat small, soft, moist (often mucus-covered), light green fecal pellets directly from the anus. These special "night stools" are especially rich in protein, vitamins and minerals. Rabbits must obtain these nutrients in this fashion. This behavior is most often carried out in the early morning hours and is rarely observed by rabbit owners.
Now that's enough to make someone vomit

- Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.
Cows have FOUR stomachs and have to chew their food again after being partially digested (chewing the cud). I am not sure that is grosser than the habits of bunnies "carried out in the early morning hours" though. Now that is just plain ! I mean, get real, who would NEED to vomit if you could stomach (pun intended) doing something like THAT.Martin Milner wrote:Maybe they can't vomit, but everything they eat has to go through their digestive system twice, as grass is so hard to break down & get nutrition from.
I'd rather have a McVitie's Digestive Biscuit than a Bunny's Digestive System.

In ancient times, many a pet bunny bit the dust due to a little kiddies book called The Adventures of Peter Cottontail. It seems that "Peter Rabbit lives happily in the Green Meadow, eating from Farmer Brown's carrot and cabbage crops."
So, it's no surprise that lots of kids fed their pet rabbits cabbage--which causes the production of enough gas to sicken a rabbit--or even kill it. I learned this the hard way (and so did my late rabbit).
It's interesting that there are lots of Web sites that recommend cabbage and other vegetables that are bad for rabbits. For example, http://www.debmark.com/rabbits/basics.htm says:
Never feed your rabbits lettuce or cole family vegetables such as cabbage, kale, kohlrabi, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, or broccoli. They can get enteritis and possibly die.
Nevertheless, you can find lots of Web sites recommending all of those vegetables.

How do they get their heads around there??Rabbits engage in a relatively uncommon but normal behavior when they deliberately eat small, soft, moist (often mucus-covered), light green fecal pellets directly from the anus.

I'm amazed no one commented on my subtle pun, though.
