:x

That's a terrible thing to happen to anybody and I hope that all turns out well.
Just thought I'd post to warn you that advertising a "No Questions Asked" article/handbill etc. is illegal in Britain and Ireland so it might be worth a look into the legal aspect of it over there.

Fingers crossed,

Slan,
D.

Why would this be illegal?

:-? :-?

I have no idea as to why,but it is illegal in the places that I mentioned.I think it can make you an accessory or an accomplice in the eyes of the law.

Weird!!

If they just return it, and no arrest, there is no fine for the locals to collect. It's a bit like that here.
My opinion is stupid and wrong.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

It might do to remove the address and other pertinent identifying info so as to not incriminate the parties concerned, then. Or so it occurs to me at first blush.

Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

Wow...what a horrible thing to happen!! My hometown too. :sniffle:

If by chance the person who took the whistle reads this, I hope you realize your mistake and return this musician's dear friend.

Sending generous and conscientious vibes.....hoping that these messages will get through to the person who thoughtlessly took this instrument.

No good can come of this theft!

It mght be more productive to wait a week and then check the Milwaukee pawn shops. I bet the thief took it cause he loved money, not whistling...

Always a terrible thing to hear. Sunday Jim D and I had whistles spread out all over a table at the South Gate with a bunch of people touching feeling and whistling. Fortunately we had no problems. Course it was Sunday Moorning with Mass in progress a hundred yards away and most everyone appeared to be sober. . . and I'm sure both of us were aware of the possibility.

Its especially dissappointing when you consider the atmosphere that sessions are supposed to promote. People just keep interfering.

I sure hope guilt or honnesty or luck helps make it reappear.
