VERY OT: words that mean sleep

Post by happyturkeyman »

It's 4:41 AM here, and I'm bored. Help me think of words or phrases that imply sleep.

E.G.

Doze
Hit the sack
Curl up
Nap
Be visited by the sandman
Nod off

Edit (4:47): Get some shut-eye

Edit (5:08) starting to get light out, better go try and... uhh... you know

We can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine.

These are two words that usually put me to sleep... John Tesh.

But this one, for obvious reasons, does the trick.... Yanni....alternate spelling: Yawn-ni. :D

I'm currently watching an infomercial for Chef Toni's (Of miracle blade perfection series fame) ultamate chopper. It's actually quite exciting. Or maybe thats the sleep deprivation. Must... go... to... bed....

Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

The use of a Thesaurus could be construed as cheating!
