...good to see some Pink Floyd fans in here... :D

from Brian Eno's "Here Come the Warm Jets" album:
"the Paw Paw Negro Blowtorch"
"Dead Finks Don't Talk"

more Frank Zappa here, from the album "Hot Rats":
"the Gumbo Variations"
"It Must Be a Camel"

...and finally, one of my own songs entitled: "Black Holes Make the Supernovas Sing"
the only lyrics in the song are:
The captain stood on the deck of his ship
and laughed at the universe
Planets have their stars and everything
black holes make the supernovas sing...

:-?

So I'm guessing no one has ever heard the song "Kiss me where it smells funny" by the Bloodhound Gang?

Isn't a black hole the most common result of a supernova? That and the WHite dwarf. One of my science teachers once told me that It was theorised that some suns implode in on themselves and create a giant ball of pure carbon under tremendous heat and pressure... COuld you imagine how much a diamond would be worth if it was flawless and the size of earth??

I bet you bell gates could buy it... :o

Dunno as I scanned this and am sleepy but the tune comes from (or is named about) the belief that if the steel was removed from a witch, she could never be killed.

If you pulled it out, she would live and never be killed, so sticking it again would do nothing, you were now under her control.

I hope your wife isn't a witch... :boggle:

"Cock up Your Beaver"
"Johnny with the Queer Thing"
"The Mucking of Geordie's Byre" (I think I spelled that right.

Then there's the old country/western tune from years past:

Blow Me Down A Rathole Backwards

I'm not real sure it won any awards...

...yes, you are correct! It is mainly supernovas that will eventually keep contracting in on themselves until finally the gravity is so strong that the star implodes rather than explodes. Thus, a black hole is created. Astronomy, quantum physics, cosmology, etc. have always facinated me...so if any you out there have any suggested reading...let me know!! :)
