Name change
This is just to announce that I will now be logging in to C&F as Quiet John, rather than antstastegood. My former nickname is about to become irrelevant. (It references the mascot of a school I am transferring out of)
Thanks.
Thanks.

I kinda liked antstastegood. When I was in grade school, we had a summer program with a naturalist who took us on hikes, etc. He told us that many Native Americans used to eat carpenter ants, and demonstrated for us. I tried them, and they DID taste pretty good-- sort of lemony. Really. Your name always brought back fond memories of a wonderful man who sparked my lifelong interest in the natural world.

Was i the first to respond to an "ants" post? I remember the C.P. avatar, then the George Bush avatar, then it's all a blur after that.Cranberry wrote:I can remember when antstastegood was Colin Powell.

Dear John,
I'm sorry, but I must call an end to this relationship... I've met another anteater, and well....

In the same thread where John changes his moinker from Antstastegood we find out what ants taste like and that they actually do taste good! Only on C&F!
