Least enjoyed aspect of the forums.

The Ultimate On-Line Whistle Community. If you find one more ultimater, let us know.

The thing I enjoy least about the C&F Forums.

Too much politics.

I think I'd vote for that.

I think OTs and POLLs are a great diversion, and also provide a place for non topic related conversation without gumming up on topic threads.

I have to admit that I am baffled by this myself. Although people say to me all the time that the board is all OT and so much politics, at any given time if you count the last 50 or so threads, the great majority aren't OT, or at least aren't TOO OT.

Too bad there's not another option right under "Too much politics." It could be "Too much complaining about too much politics."
I don't mind the threads that are clearly intended to be political. I just don't bother to read threads like the current monster titled "political."

What I object to is that there are a handful of people around here who seem bent on making every thread into a political thread.

Of course, those who are guilty of this aren't likely to recognize the situation or consider it a problem, are they?

I try not to, John, if you are talking about me.

I think Wisely was Wise to do the Political. It's a catch-all and can and will go in any direction without filling the screen. I suppose he could start a Relgious and Philosophical thread as well.
How do you prepare for the end of the world?

Sorry...a year or so ago there were some really sexy guacamole pics contributed by Lee and some of the others, but I couldn't find them in Search mode.

And for some inexplicable reason I never devoted a special section in the Matrix to the Guac Pix, so I guess they're lost for all time...

Nah, I wasn't talking about you Weeks. You usually get sucked (or suckered) in, but you don't usually start the politicization of a thread as near as I can tell.
