Least enjoyed aspect of the forums.

The Ultimate On-Line Whistle Community. If you find one more ultimater, let us know.

The thing I enjoy least about the C&F Forums.

Too much politics.

Well, I voted against him. D'you think our two votes will cancel each other?

Talking of antiparticles collisions, did you ever notice that Amar Era is a suspicious mantra, spelled backwards?
I'm sure he dresses in yellow and busks in airports... i.e. brandishes his heaviest low whistle in one hand while handing out the other.

No mention of Star Trek as a voting feature. I just can't get enough of CapnKirk and his recorder solo!
How do you prepare for the end of the world?

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

I'm hoping no sweeping changes occur as a result if this poll. Things are good here.

We need yet another option - "Not a single damn thing."

Hey, kiddies, if you don't like a part of the forum, don't play there. Is it really that hard to figure out? C&F is one of the more civil parts of the web. OTOH, some chaos is necessary for the continued function of the universe.

Personally, I like it just fine, and the parts I don't like I don't do.

As far as a general discussion forum goes it's true that this baord functions more smoothly than SOME boards out there, but there are two point to take note of:

1. There are many boards that I either have frequented in the past or visit now that are just as good if not even better than this one regarding civillity and politeness of it's members.

2. There is a much lower ratio today of whistle related topics on the C&F board now (including whistle topics that STAY on topic) than if you were to visit this board a few years ago.

As Dale has mentioned before, it may just be a victim of critical mass and there is little that could be done to steer it back to a more focused posting order. Riverdance ahs worn off, and Braveheart is drawn and quartered. The Titanic sits at the bottom of the North Atlantic and all the rage and excitement over this "new" ITM thing has died off by now.

I would fully ecpect this board to very likely continue as it is now or perhaps grow even more diverse and less whistle related in the months and years ahead - as long as it remains active. For my own part, I gave up trying to find much useful whistle related information here long ago. It's a great place though if you want to discuss the relationship of Vegans and their place in the univers, the politics of John Kerry's underpants or perhaps the price of tea in China.

Er... Too much consumer-driven capitalism evident. No hang on, that's too political.

Actually, I'd like to see all the political stuff stay in the one monster Political thread. Seeing the place clogged up with lots of different political stuff would be a shame. If all the serious stuff is in the one place, the people who mistakenly think they are not political can avoid it.

Andrea Coor's? This would be the beverage of choice of Andrea Corr? Or do you mean Andrea's Coors?
