Walton's finally decided to make a whistle named after Andrea!!!

It's the Waltons "Andrea" Extra Extra Narrow Bore Model

Hmm, my first thought was that it would be new Clarke given the rumours that they were working on new products (as discussed in previous threads) but I can't see how they could produce it at "half the price of existing models."

I am thinking that this new whistle must be coming from a a high-end whistle maker as they are the only ones who could really move to a substantially lower price-point. My guess is that it is Copeland - oh please, oh please let it be Copeland!

(edited to fix a typo and not to change my guess)

I'm thinking machined Chieftains. Minus the engraving.

Do we have to guess the company's name as well as the name of the whistle, which will be named after a girl? Or is it just the company name that's named after a girl? JP

Just a guess,

Ralph Sweet of Sweetheart Flutes - new whistle - "Sweetheart"

Probably not it, but it goes with the "Sweeter" hint.

Since Steve is the main web seller for O'Brien's I will go with an O'Brien with a plastic mouthpiece (like a Kerry).

I'll go with "The Andrea" by Walton's. Slim tapered black body, ruby red fipple, and full of sparkle. It's the whistle that makes every guy smile and go "Corr"!

Naw, people, you're way off track!

The maker is Dixie Fife Co. The whistle name is Bathsheba-Twilah-Maureen III, and she is 24" of lucious orange plastic. Oh yeah- she costs $1.99.

Send me my prize, now, please. Image

Are we sure that's a Walton's LBW Andrea has in her lips? It looks suspiciously like an all-black Feadog, to me.

Steve
