Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Well, if the occasional bout of silliness counts as "spewing forth vomitus", bring on the Roman Shower! :D

I always take my babies with a grain of salt.

OK, seriously, out of a sense of personal "putting it out-there-ness" I actually HAVE thought about posting a couple of bits on Clips and Snips and then if somebody wants to go listen and either appreciate or deride, then whatever. You know, the old "take what you like and leave the rest" thing. And if folks did do that, others could always go listen and draw their own conclusions.

But have I done it yet? Nooooooo. Beyond being sort of a pain technically, it's scary. I mean, it seems people who hear me don't think I stink, and if my beloved teacher thinks I stink he's far too polite to say it etc., etc. ..... but I'd be really bummed if Eilam thought I stunk. ;-)

I stink, therefore, I think?

xo,
cat.

I still like sonja's quote "Shut up and play."
But do I follow it? HAH!

I assume then we won't be engaging in pedophagy, then?

Well, I'm glad this has circled around to where it really should be, back on eating babies. I'm highly surprised that Jessie hasn't commented on this topic, since her avatar obviously shows her gastronomical preference...which is to eat her own progeny, which my wife assures me, is any mother's right.

Mat - I knew what you were up to, and it was that piper's comment that sealed the deal so to speak.

Swift would have been proud of ya!

Hi as a traditional musician who is studing a degree in traditional irish music and a person whom has been playing for quite a number of years i am disapointed. I know you have to come up with some method for organising the forums but in doing so you are also excluding very real and genuine musicians who are not able to write music. I know this because i was taught to play by ear and am currently trying to learn to read and write music and it is a very hard process as an adult.

so with reading this i hope you take it under consideration when you decide what you are going to do . There is good and bad in everything but one thing i have found since i joined this forum is real help regarding my questions, and i appreaciate it greatly. So i hope you will think this through more carefully
