Thanks, everyone.

It helps a lot.

Paul, I don't know if we'll be separated. That wasn't what I meant to convey, and I apologize for being unclear. I have health issues of my own that limit my stamina to take care of her and manage the household. I can do it, but it will be hard. Arleen is very strong, and otherwise in excellent health. Again, I'm grateful for your thoughts and prayers.

Best wishes,
Jerry

I'm not a religious person, but y'all will be in my thoughts. I hope her recovery is speedy and complete.

Good luck Jerry and Arleen...hang in there. Life has its slogs through the muck, but I feel confident you'll come out ok.

Jerry, sorry to hear this! Prayers and thoughts will go only so far, so we can do more!

I am going to run a raffle to benefit you and your family. I hope it will be able to raise enough funds to at least ease the difficulty of her recovery time. Give me a couple of days to come up with the details. I will, of course, contribute at least a couple of instruments and my time. Anyone willing to donate instruments to this raffle, please contact me.

Dear Jerry,

I don't pray, but whatever it is I do in its stead, I will do for you and your wife in the days to come. Please accept my best wishes for your wife's prompt recovery.

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

Jerry, please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help your family through this period. I mean ANYTHING!

Just saw this. My prayers and wishes are feeble things, but you and yours have them.

Hang in there, Jerrie.
You know you have around 3000 whistle players, plus I imagine many others, who will rally in your support. Fall back on that if you can.
Keep us posted.

Jerry, It is a sad thing to have a loved one have to undergo such an ordeal. You have my sympathy and my positive thoughts for a total and complete recovery of Arleen and my support for your family situation while she is recuperating.

May all be well.
