I suppose we could expect Tommy Martin for one will be in attendance.

Barring last minute schedule changes and unanticipated failure of my colleagues to honor their commitment to cover the practice for the weekend I should be there too....with the K&Q Beehive C set, and B and D chanters of their make in tow as well.

I guess I'll be there too. It'll be my first time.

You have to bring in and actually drink Budweiser at the Tap Room, right?

Initiation? Can you expand on this a bit, Pat?

Ack! Yellow beer!! Reminds me of when the only beer you could get at Dublin, Ohio's Irish Fest was Killian's Red - never got a headache faster in my entire life.

Yellow Beer?!??
They don't call it Bud-Mud for nothing.
Don't worry there'll be plenty of fine ales to be had at the Tap Room. All home-made. In fact I sampled a few last night myself.

I definitely be looking forward to hearing the Beehive set! I'll have to tune up my C chanter for a tune with you.
So Patrick, whats this initiation business. I'm getting nervous now. Is it like a hazing thing. Maybe we'll get Mr. Reitmann to scream at pipers, "tune up them drones" and poke them with sharpened regulator tuning pins.
Drop and give me 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See yiz there.

 I realize my incredible ignorance in asking, but what's this event all about? Open to the public? I'm in St. Louis and interested in coming to listen.

Yeah, drop on by and check it out. There will some mighty music happening all weekend long.

If you haven't seen Tommy Martin or Michael Cooney playin the pipes, it's worth dropping in just for that alone, they're two of the very best with very different styles.

Ah, lovely Cavan. :D I'll be there with the "inlaws" this summer but will miss the tionol. The St. Louis one sounds good, too, Mary Bergin's teaching, huh? Have fun everyone!
