Some might argue that that's a finally right and proper use for 'em. Minus the reeds, of course.

From a purely practical point of fiew, it's difficult to see how much air could be going into the tire with the finger holes on the chanter open.

Yes, yes, and I noted that the bag was uninflated...

Hey, that's a very important practice technique.

I can direct the air flow right through the blowpipe into the chanter without inflating the bag and bypass all of the holes in the chanter to create enough pressure to inflate the tire. Easy with practice.

You know you're ready for the St. Paddy's day pub crawl when you have this down.

Flat tires on the bus are a snap but there isn't much you can do about the bus sinking to it's axels in the asphalt parking lot. Spring runoff makes the ground wet and soft. We've got a lode of new harder reeds and are training to use our bags as a pneumatic lift if the problem arises again this year. :D

Although watching the bus owner trying to pull the bus out with his brand new truck was very entertaining.

You're going about it all wrong. Just give several pipers a few good tots of single malt, then tell them that the only thing on the bus to eat is haggis. They'll CARRY it out if they have to.
