Post by Kevin L. Rietmann »

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... tegory=624 Sold by "pdmacleod,"
sounds Highlandish. "Here is a great opportunity to own a true piece of the irish culture. " Duh...OK! One of the pics is interesting, you flip the chanter over and it looks like an O'Grady set:

Paul, the real owner, had his friend, pdmacleod, put them on ebay. macleod goofed by including the picture of the drones and regs from the other set, but Paul says they might also be for sale.

Does anyone have an experience with Stephenson's pipes or practice sets? If so, positive/negative? Any other comments as I'm not familiar with his handiwork. Thanks,
Brian

His workmanship seems to be highly praised across the board, though there has been discussion about the ease of contact with the man himself in the past. Whereas this is an auction to buy from another player that wouldn't seem an issue to be concerned about - unless the set needed any work from the maker. You may want to peruse the archives/past threads and make that judgement call for yourself.
