Nice to see Ashcroft's picture on C&F. I grew up seeing his picture... seemed like every Sunday... in the news section of the Evangel. It was so rare to see an Assemblies of God member successful in political office. It is good to see that societal prejudice against holy rollers has lessened. His father used to be the Bible teacher every summer, at the Oklahoma camp meeting.
