Just curious.
I have the Nadine Laughlin songs that Chris posted here some time back, but have been listening to the Clancey Brothers a lot this week.

The first Solas CD, unfortunately my car CD player is on the blink and refuses to play many of my CD's, this one included - just keeps spitting the darn thing back out at me
I think Colm O'Donnel's "Farewell to Evening Dances" is in my portable CD player as the last thing I was listenting to. Either that or "Sounds of Wood and Steel 2", an acoustic Guitar compilation. OTH it could be Buddy Guy's "Sweet Tea".......ach, I can't remember.

- Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.
Well, your music choise stinks!!!!skh wrote:I love these innocent war-free zones of what-are-you-doing-right-now off-topic threads. Really

Na Connerys
Christmas in an Irish Castle
An Irish Christmas
Joanie Madden AIW vol2
yeah, I know, xmas is over. But there are excellent cuts on those xmas records. The irish castle one may not be one most of you have, it was made during the 2001 Xmas Revels in Oakland. Has Liz Carroll, Jerry OSullivan, Patrick Ball and others on it. Quite nice.
I like slice of life polls too. Screw the cynics.

Bill Och's CD for "The Clarke Tin Whistle" tutorial.
Just before that, it was Margaret Barry's "I Moved Throught the Fairs".
I can't listen to music while working, because I always have to stop and pay attention to the music. I thought I might be able to use something soft, like the Modern Jazz Quartet's "No Sun in Venice" album, as background music, but even that fights its way to the foreground withing minutes.

Niiiiiiiiiiice. A real gem that one. Their other CD is very good, too.
Right now my CD player is featuring:
"Kitty Lie Over" by Mick O'Brien and Caoimhin O Raghaillaigh (sp?).
