Current Issue of C&F Newsletter

Post by JessieK »

I loved it! It has so much relevant information. After what seemed like a couple of years of basic drought, we have actually come to a time when there are new developments all over the place. Cool!

This newsletter is one of the best I've read. What a great way to start 2004. Things are looking up already.

I have never recieved the newsletter because the consensus was that is was mainly political and personal in nature and not whistles (imagine that!) and I already have too much political and personal inbox clutter. Mabey I should start getting it...

The part about the Marxist revolution
brewing in Libya struck me as
unrelated to whistles, I must say.
But that's our Dale....

Usually someone mentions it on the board when it comes out. You can find it from here. Click the "Free email newsletter" link at the top middle of this page, then click the link to check out back issues. The current issue is the first one on that page.

Just read it at the site, Cran. You don't have to subscribe. Now, if you are a big Steve Irwin fan, you might find something to be offended about...

I wonder what the mainstream Aussies have to say about him these days.

Steve Irwin is an idiot who chases a critter all over the place and then says, "Wonder what's got him so upset."

And after watching him even dive into water wearing his standard khaki shirt, shorts, and black socks/shoes, I've got to wonder if he wears that get-up to bed at night.

Steve Irwin was brought up by his father the same way he and Terry are bringing up their children. Too much is being made of all of this hoopla. Anyone who has been around animals knows that the way to get children accustomed to them is to start them at an early age. Steve and Terry's son, was never in any imminent danger. Steve held Bob way away from the croc, and when he put him down on his feet to "run" away, Steve was between the croc and his son.

All these people raising hell about the whole situation should look back at what really happened. If they knew anything about animals, they'd have a second thought!!!

Yuk. What vivid imagery. Now I'm gonna have nightmares.
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, you'll be a mile from them, and you'll have their shoes.

As much as an "animal person" as I am, I think anybody who would take a 4 week old baby into a crocodile's personal space is bonkers. Not the same level of bonkers as somebody who would dangle their baby off a balcony to show fans, but still.....

Besides, Jeff Corwin is a thousand times hotter than Steve Irwin.

Great newsletter, but maybe a small correction is needed. The public service announcement should read like this:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The following is a Public Service Announcement brought to you by Chiff & Fipple

Image + Image = Image Image Image
