Hoilday Greetings

Post by Pipey »

Best Holiday wishes to all of my "new" friends on the Forum. I've been at the pipes for nine months now and all the friendly advice given has been a real help and very much appreciated. Best to all. :) :) :)

Hi Folks,
to all those who helped this year, Thanks, :D . To those who I've bitched at, you probably deserved it  .

Merry Christmas, Mac

In theory there's no difference between theory and practice but in practice there is.

Yeah, Merry Christmas everyone!

I played my first couple of pipe gigs this last week - coffee shops and some private parties - Christmas-flavored stuff. It was a blast, people loved the pipes, and if it weren't for this board that wouldn't have been possible.

Thanks to everyone.

All the best,
Joey

Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

Just plain tickled and honored to know all of you... thanks for a good year past and many more to come! It has been an amazing year, hasn't it?!

I can almost sort of play these pipes, thanks to a lot of you, thanks to my teacher too! (You know who you are!)

Wishing everyone here a really great new year! Thanks especially to Dale for this forum: Keep it up, Dale!

Yep, Merry New Year and Happy Christmas!

Or Chappy Chanukkah!

A festive Eid and an uneventful Hajj!

And a traditional Kwanzaa to you. :)

And . . . hmm . . . a solstice full of mistletoe brownies and many appreciative trees?

A good and Merry Christmas to all of you. Many thanks to everyone for providing such good entertainment, information, advice, and thought provoking frustration on an instrument that can make you feel so lonely.
